    HENRI DAUMAN PHOTOGRAPHS

Henri Dauman is one of the pillars of American photojournalism!
He is one of those discreet French people who settled in the United States in the early 1950s without ideas of conquest but out of immediate necessity.

This book, the only one on the artist to date, retraces the unpublished journey of Henri Dauman, photographer at Life Magazine, The New York Times or Newsweek. 50 years of unpublished or iconic photographs, from the tumultuous life of New York in the 60s to the stars of the moment (Marilyn Monroe, Jane Fonda), from the rise of Kennedy to his death or the birth of Pop Art with Andy Warhol .

This edition was produced in limited edition in November 2014 on the occasion of the exhibition The Manhattan Darkroom in Paris at the Palais d'Iéna.
